RFID Security Alliance Open Forum – 5/18/2011 – Secure RFID Tracking of Drugs

Contributed by Joanne C. Kelleher

The RFID Security Alliance holds a monthly open forum about topics related to securing radio frequency identification systems. Attendees can dial in or, if in the San Francisco area, attend in person.

Today’s topic is Secure RFID Tracking of Drugs From A-Z Including Medical Marijuana

RFIDSA Chair, Michael McCartney, will bring us up to date and lead a discussion about the use of RFID to securely track pharmaceuticals. He will also lead a lively discussion of what’s up in RFID and related technology.

The 5/18/2011 forum starts at 10 am PT/1 pm ET and will last about 1 hour.

To participate, email Anna.Haight@RFIDSecurityAlliance.org. She will send you the dial in details and the slides. If you wish to join in person, the physical location is QLM Consulting, Sausalito CA.

We hope you can join us.

Save the date. The next Monthly Open Forum is Wednesday, June 8, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Pacific Time on “CYBERWARFARE and RFID”.  The featured speaker is Lukas Grunwald, CEO of DN-Systems Enterprise Internet Solutions GmbH (Hildesheim/Germany), a globally acting consulting firm working mainly in the field of security solutions for enterprises and federal governments in Europe and Asia.
