In this issue, we have gathered recent IoT security news stories where you will see that the lifestyle changes necessary to combat COVID-19 didn’t slow IoT security threats. Instead, the issues have grown in scope and scale.

Veridify Security SDK Available for the Renesas RL78

We are pleased to announce the availability of our security tools in SDK format for quick and easy deployment on the Renesas RL78. These tools provide authentication and data protection solutions that are fast and energy-efficient, with a small footprint that requires much lower RAM/ROM compared to legacy methods. These software protocols, available here, are quick and easy to implement without the hassle and cost of accelerators or additional processor support.

We continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation in relation to our planned participation at upcoming industry events. We will decide whether we will participate in-person or virtually based on the most recent COVID-19 information and event plans.
